General Information: Collingswood Crafts and Fine Art Festival
Saturday, August 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (extending into the evening with 2nd Saturday!) and Sunday, August 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Second Saturday and Sunday of August each year…Forget the Shore! Come to the Collingswood Crafts and Fine Art Festival!

On Saturday, August 14, and Sunday, August 15, Haddon Avenue in downtown Collingswood will host 180 craft and fine artists from throughout the United States. Selected through a jurying process, respected artists will present contemporary works in wood, clay, glass, metal and fiber: the newest in hand crafts and exciting visual art.

Whether you are looking for a hand-woven scarf or jacket, a leather belt, exquisite jewelry, fine and fashion, a stained glass panel or a turned wooden bowl- you will find it at the Collingswood Festival! Ceramics for home or garden, original watercolors, oils, collage or fine photographs, heirloom toys or whimsical gifts that you have never seen before- all these and more can be found beneath the billowing white tents that will stretch along Haddon Avenue.

Café dining, a Collingswood highlight, makes the show festive! With many cuisine choices available at more than a dozen fine restaurants, festival-goers can choose Italian specialties, sumptuous seafood, Asian-fusion delicacies, south of the border delights, gourmet sandwiches even the all-American hot dog for lunch, dinner or dining al fresco. Be sure to leave room for dessert and a taste of Granny’s KettleKorn, Lakes Almonds, a smoothie or shaved Hawaiian ice! There will even be nostalgic sodas dispensed in “tin cups” from a chuck wagon!

Entertainment throughout downtown will include smooth jazz and gentle music perfect for summer strolling. A talented face painter and family art activities offered by All Fired up Pottery Studio and Jubilee Beads, at their Haddon Avenue locations add to the fun.

“The Art of the Automobile” sponsored by Subaru of America, will present their latest award-winning models for up-close viewing and offer some other not-to-be-missed surprises!

PATCO, now in its 41st year of Speedline service, will offer festival attendees a fascinating view of “Art in Action!” A rendering contest, sponsored by PATCO, where a work of art is to be completed during the two days of the Festival, will take place at the Collingswood location of the Perkins Center for the Arts. Adult and young adult artists will compete, in a medium of their choice, for cash prizes to be awarded on Sunday of the Festival. Judged by faculty of Perkins, the works will be displayed at the Perkins Collingswood studio following the Festival.

Extend the fun! Stay late on Saturday for the August “Second Saturday” celebration. Each month, musicians play downtown and shops stay open late for shoppers who dine at one or Collingswood’s many outstanding restaurants.
