Appearing in 2009/2010
10/7: Pianist Jim DeSalvo and his trio. Well-known fixture of the early 1970s Greenwich Village jazz "loft" scene, DeSavo has recorded and worked with the bet, including Bob berg, Charlie Hayden, Chet Baker, Dizzy Gillespie, and Philly Joe Jones.
11/4: Argeggio. Led by bassist Warren Oree, this extraordinary band has performed at jazz fests around the world; includes saxophonist Umar Raheem and JuJu on drums.
12/2: Antfarm. This band, which includes pianist Jim Ridl, has exploded on the scene and features the effervescent vocals of Paul Jost.
1/6: Saxophonist Denis DiBlasio and his band have appeared every January since the Collingswood series began, and they never disappoint.
2/3: Pianist Orrin Evans and the Captain Black Big Band. You've seen them at Chris' Jazz Cafe, now you'll see them in Collingswood.
3/3: Saxophonist Lynn Riley and her band. Lynn is a longtime Philadelphia treasure who has opened for Spiro Gyra, Najee, Andy Narrell and the Indigo Girls...definitely should not be missed!
3/8: FAT TUESDAY CELEBRATION with trumpeter Al Harrison and his New Orleans Band! Special Benefit for Jazz Bridge, Tri-State Jazz Society and Regol Concerts.
4/7: Pianist Suzette Ortiz, last seen locally at the Clifford Brown Festival, will be playing original Latin jazz with her incredible band.
5/5: Vibist and recording artist Randy Sutton and his band will electrify Collingswood, and he may even bring his Vietnamese gongs!
