Collingswood welcomes band All About Me for the 4th of July
All events take place on July 4 (Fireworks rain date: July 8)
Fireworks, festivities and All About Me
All About Me will take the stage as the Borough celebrates America’s independence. The band is composed of some of the best musicians and composers in the Philadelphia region and will entertain the crowd with popular music and play patriotic tunes during the fireworks. Admission is free. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.; Show starts at 8 p.m. One of the best fireworks displays in the area kicks off at approximately 9:15 p.m. at the high school stadium (424 Collings Ave).

Bike Parade in Knight Park – Monday, July 4th at 10 a.m.
Hosted by the Collingswood Jr. Women's Club, the Bike Parade at Knight Park invites children of all age groups to deck out their bikes, strollers and wagons in colors truly patriotic! This year, parade contestants will be categorized by age groups. Event registration begins at 9 a.m., in the gazebo by the Grant Avenue entrance to Knight Park and the parade kicks off at 10 a.m.. To end it all on a sweet note, participants receive free ice cream from Mr. Softee and an American flag after the parade.
Fun at Robert’s Pool
Summer days like the Fourth of July can be hot, so Collingswood’s Roberts Pool welcomes kids to take a dip - but with a twist and a turn! Starting at 2 p.m., events for kids such as water games, raft races, coin toss, watermelon games and a host of other activities will keep everyone cool and prizes are offered for participants.
Proud Neighbors of Collingswood House Decorating Contest
Who said only kids have all the fun? Proud Neighbors of Collingswood welcomes the town to take part in the annual house decorating contest.
Collingswood homes, businesses and town blocks will be judged on creativity, originality, appropriateness to architecture, best historic home and overall best look. Show off your banners, flags, stars or stripes to paint the town red, blue and white! The official judging will take place on the morning of 4th of July and the winner will be announced in style at the Collingswood fireworks displays that evening. Winners will be awarded Collingswood Cash.
"There has been a festive display of patriotic colors over the years. I expect the same enthusiasm from participants this year too," said Proud Neighbors President Marlene Granitz.

Judges will only visit homes that provide address, name, phone and email in advance. The Proud Neighbors of Collingswood, a not-for-profit civic organization established in 1983, is dedicated to restoration, historic preservation and working with volunteers, neighbors, business and government to maintain Collingswood’s historic character.
Collingswood will also be decorated all summer in red, white and blue long as part of CBS Philly’s Star Spangled Summer campaign which showcases flag displays throughout the Delaware and Lehigh Valleys through news stories, special events, programming and public service announcements from Flag Day, June 14 through Patriot’s Day, September 11.
