Santa descends from atop Borough Hall by way of the Collingswood Fire Department’s ladder truck – just in time for the Borough’s official Tree Lighting Ceremony. Choral groups will sing as the town tree is lit up with twinkling lights and season’s greetings are made by Mayor Jim Maley and Commissioners Joan Leonard and Mike Hall.

Saturday, November 26   Holiday Parade at 10am: For details on the Holiday Parade, check out the Holiday Parade page! The largest parade in SJ. A decades old tradition.

Parade of Lights, Friday, December 9, 7:30 p.m.
Continuing in tradition, fire trucks and floats strung in glittering lights will drive from Zane Ave. to Homestead Ave. (at the Collingswood post office, 970 Haddon Ave) for the Parade of Lights on Friday, Dec. 9 at 7:30. Collingswood’s Fire Department and civic organizations will come decorated and ready to represent their groups. Trucks will compete for top honors and prizes. Santa will follow on the last truck to greet children and spectators and send season’s greetings. Organizations that would like to be involved can call the Collingswood Fire Department at 856-854-1043.  Hotsy Totsy will be strolling the Avenue singing from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Saturday, December 10 – Second Saturday!
The festive lights will make for an extra special Second Saturday event on Dec. 10 starting at 5 p.m. As always, the evening of art and entertainment will host artists, crafters and musicians at studios, galleries, coffee houses and retail shops. The event shines in December with the theme of Christmas in a Classic Town.
