The Collingswood Shakespeare Company will present an epic production of the Bard's War of the Roses. The project covers four of Shakespeare's history plays: Henry VI, parts I, II, and III and Richard III. Fans of classic literature and history buffs will not want to miss the drama leading up to Tudor rule in England.
War of the Roses will be presented in three parts at the American Legion Post #17 (622 Atlantic Avenue S) in Collingswood. -Part I will be presented on Friday Feb. 26, Thursday March 4, and Friday March 12 at 8 pm. Start: 11:00 am

For the sixth year, Collingswood Firefighters, along with countless other colleagues, family, neighbors, and friends, are raising money for children’s cancer research. The event, known as St. Baldrick’s Day, will take place on March 7 in the Collingswood Grand Ballroom at the Scottish Rite Auditorium, 315 White Horse Pike in Collingswood, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Start: 3:00 pm

The Readers’ Theater of Camden County College will perform an adaptation of John Steinbeck’s Grapes of Wrath as a fundraiser for the Collingswood Food Pantry (for St. Paul’s Lutheran Church) on March 7 at Collingswood Presbyterian Church (30 Fern Ave) at 3 p.m. Ther reading is free and donations of non-perishable food will be collected. In addition, a silent auction of donated items and services will be held. All proceeds will be donated to the Food Pantry. | ||
