Fresh Food Access Tool-kit

The Borough of Collingswood is committed to expanding access to healthy and nutritious foods. We partner with other local organizations committed to combatting food insecurity.  These important initiatives geared at providing equitable access to fresh healthy foods are open to all areas residents (not just Collingswood residents):

  • Accepting SNAP/EBT benefits at the Collingswood Farmers’ Market, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon, May to November
  • Good Food Bucks - providing dollar-for-dollar matching benefits on EBT/SNAP purchases at the Collingswood Farmers' Market
  • Bringing back Virtua Health’s colorful Eat Well Mobile Farmers' Market, offering deeply discounted produce plus a 50% discount on SNAP purchases. Wednesdays year-round from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 520 North Newton Lake Drive in Collingswood. Please Note: the mobile market is open to all residents - no benefits or income verification is required.
