Does Collingswood recycle? 
South Jersey Sanitation is the contractor for solid waste and recycling for our borough. Call 856-772-9899 for additional information or if your trash or recycling is missed. The Borough provides weekly collection of solid waste and recycling. The Borough utilizes a single-stream recycling system where you can mix all of your recycling into one container.  Glass, paper, and plastics should be placed in your blue Collingswood Recycling Container and will be collected on your scheduled trash pickup day. Bulk items such as household appliances, furniture, etc., may be discarded with normal trash pickup except during holidays. Does my pet need a license? 
All cats and dogs of licensing age must be counted and licensed each year as required by the State of NJ. Applications and fees are collected at the Borough Clerk’s office. Applications are available at Borough Hall or online.  As a reminder: Pet Licenses renewed after March 31 will be charged a $10 late fee per household. How and where do I pay my taxes? 
Located in Borough Hall, Collingswood’s Tax Department prepares the billing and the processing of your payments. Water and sewage bills are also handled through this department. The due dates for Tax, Water and Sewage bills are February 1st, May 1st, August 1st and November 1st.  Payments can be mailed, hand delivered or paid online. In person payments can be brought directly to the office, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Borough’s Tax Assessor Office is open Monday-Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Please use the side door of Borough Hall on Saturdays.) Is there public transportation? 
No matter where you are, you’re close to Collingswood! By car, Collingswood is easily accessible by I-295, I-676, Routes 70, 38 and the New Jersey Turnpike. There are several convenient public parking lots in Collingswood and a parking map can be downloaded by clicking here. How do I register to vote here? 
Voter registration applications are available at the Borough Clerk’s Office or through Camden County Division of Elections. Please visit the Borough Clerk’s page for more information about voter registration, election dates, and voting options.  You can register in person or by mail by downloading the voter registration form.
