Collingswood’s American Legion honors Veterans Day Saturday, November 11 with a series of ceremonies throughout the day:
At 10am, the ceremonies begin at Post 17 located at 622 S. Atlantic Avenue.
At 10:15am, a remembrance ceremony begins at the Korea and Vietnam Memorial, located on the corner of Park and Browning.
At 10:30am, a remembrance ceremony begins at the World War II Memorial, located on the corner of Collings and Browning.
At 10:50am, a remembrance ceremony begins at the Newton Sloan Cemetery, located on Elm and Lynne Avenues in West Collingswood.
At 11:10am, a remembrance ceremony begins at the World War I Memorial, located in the vicinity of Park and Collings.
At 11:30am, the ceremonies conclude by returning to Post 17, 620 Atlantic Ave, Collingswood.
