DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MARCH 31st

Collingswood residents and business owners can fill out one easy form and find themselves $150 richer next year! There are still three installments to be made for the PRIDE Grant – so be sure to fill out the application and get it in! YOU MUST FILL OUT THE APPLICATION EVERY YEAR.

The PRIDE Grant program, announced in September 2005 by Borough Commissioners, allots $150 to every Collingswood property owner each year for four years for a total of $600 – to help with the cost of property improvements. The first installment went out in 2007.

The funding is available to all property owners! To be eligible for the grant you must (1) be the legal owner of your property as of September 1, 2007; (2) be current in your taxes, water and sewer bills; and (3) agree to spend at least $150 to improve your property over the next five years. The program is designed to boost the pride and look of Collingswood by assisting owners in home and business repairs, maintenance and growth. The last step is to clip out this form and mail it in. Checks will arrive in 2008.

The PRIDE Grant allows $2.7 million of the $4 million profit from the sale of the Parkview to go directly back to Collingswood properties. Please spread the word about the grant and make sure everyone has PRIDE in Collingswood. Remind neighbors, friends, family and co-workers that they have the opportunity to collect their $150 and improve their property – it takes only minutes to complete. The PRIDE Grant is designed to return the investment the Collingswood taxpayers shouldered over the last 10 years.

Drop completed applications off at Borough Hall or mail it (678 Haddon Ave) - applications must be filled out yearly to claim the grant.
