There's more to our town than what you can see from our tree-lined streets.  Now see Collingswood's houses from the inside, on this year's Proud Neighbors of Collingswood Porch Brunch and House Tour.  Come discover the history, the charm, and the style that lie behind the doors of Collingswood. See various architectural styles and enjoy homeowners' creative interior design. The tour houses and gardens are open from noon until 5:30 p.m. Collingswood's tour presents five lovely homes, one historic homestead and four gardens. The designs and décor featured in Proud Neighbors of Collingswood Tour will help you see why we are proud of our hometown.  Take a leisurely stroll through our town (most shops are open Sunday afternoon) and step inside these private homes and gardens.  For questions, please call 856-858-1766

Always held on the Sunday after Mother's Day, our civic organization's signature event commemorates National Preservation month - Collingswood style!  Citizens in Collingswood, New Jersey will join thousands of individuals around the country as part of a nationwide celebration of National Preservation Month in May 2009.  Preservation Month is designed to raise awareness about the power historic preservation has to protect and enhance our homes, neighborhoods and communities - the places that really matter to us. Preservation Month provides an opportunity to celebrate the diverse and unique heritage of our towns, and enables all of us to become involved in the growing preservation movement. Get involved today! All proceeds from Proud Neighbors of Collingswood’s annual popular Porch Brunch, House & Garden Tour are donated back to our community to encourage restoration and neighborhood preservation, with the emphasis on maintaining the historic character of our Collingswood.

Relax over brunch on a gracious front porch on Sunday, May 17.  Why early closing of advance brunch reservations?  This is due to our all-volunteer team effort which purchases fresh ingredients & prepares brunch for 344 guests.

A savory spinach-cheese strata accompanied by a vibrant citrus-fennel salad over greens will be served.  Brunch is always complimented with homemade muffins, desserts, coffee/tea and iced tea.  Advance reserved seating are at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. on  May 17. Combination brunch and tour ticket prices for are $25 per person. Brunch reservations are only accepted by calling In the Knick of Time at 856-854-1070.
