31 Oct 2008 - 10:30pm
Collingswood Foundation for the Arts presents the Backpocket Production Company’s live theatrical Collingswood stage debut of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Performances will be held at the Scottish Rite Auditorium on Tuesday, October 28 through Thursday, October 30 at 8 pm, Friday, October 31 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, November 1 at 2 pm and 8 pm. Tickets are $30 per person ($15 for students and seniors) and are available at the Scottish Rite Auditorium (856) 858-1000.
Rocky Horror tells the story of two clean cut kids, Brad Majors and Janet Weiss, who run into car trouble and seek help at the site of light down the road. Little do they know it's coming from the place where Dr. Frank N Furter is in the midst of his maniacal experiments. The play is a rock musical, a spoof of science fiction movies, and a truly bizarre story.
