Courier got it wrong
In reporting on the end of the Woodlynne police sharing agreement today, the Courier got one thing wrong. They stated this could have been avoided by the hiring of one additional officer. Wrong. The Courier left a voicemail on my cell phone last night around 6pm and I called back with a message and sent the following email:

To answer your question, it would take more that 1 officer. It would take multiple. And it would take a comprehensive housing enforcement program.

The services needed in Woodlynne, in our opinion, are substantial and the financial resources are not available to cover the costs. To continue the agreement would have reduced service in Collingswood.
