Support 'Operation Blessing' at Volunteers of America in Colls

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley’s ‘Operation Blessing’ campaign aims to address the practical needs of more than 5,000 less fortunate men, women, children, and families during the holiday season.

Here’s how to get involved:

Adopt-A-Family: The campaign begins in early November as families in our transitional living programs make their holiday wishes. Donors can choose to grant the wishes of an individual or family.

Give the Gift of Warmth: Until February 15, Volunteers of America, Delaware Valley Chapter will collect donations of new gloves, hats, scarves, ear muffs, blankets, linen, footwear, undergarments, socks, and coats.

Bring a toy: Bring new toys to our administrative office or any of our program locations in the Delaware Valley, and we will see to it that needy children have a Merry Christmas. The toy drive ends December 18.

Feed The Hungry: Until January 31, please bring canned goods and nonperishable food items to our administrative office to help support our homelessness prevention program.

Cash donations are also welcome and can be mailed or delivered to Volunteers of America Delaware Valley, 235 White Horse Pike, Collingswood, NJ 08107. For more information, call Jynette Hernandez, 856-854-4660, x135.
