The Collingswood Youth Theatre, sponsored by the Borough of Collingswood will be presenting “Pied Piper – The Musical” on Friday, April 23rd at 7:30pm and on Saturday, April 24th at 1:30pm and 7:30pm at the Collingswood Middle School Auditorium, 414 Collings Avenue.
This children’s musical tells the story of Hamelin Town’s problem with pesky rats taking over the town. No one, including the greedy mayor, knows what to do. Then an odd gentleman shows up and agrees to get rid of the rats for a fee. When he disposes of the pests and returns for his fee, the townspeople claim they are too poor to pay! What the Pied Piper does next results in the famous saying to always remember to “Pay the Piper”.This charming, magical musical is fun for the whole family.
