Collingswood, New Jersey

Live jazz, great food, Vote Party, Feb 28 - help us crown Colls tops!

Collingswood is in the final stretch of the Reader’s Digest contest to be named the best town in America and we’re throwing a party! To celebrate everyone’s support and make one final push for a prize, Collingswood will host a town-wide, come one, come all, vote extravaganza on February 28 from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Collingswood Community Center.

Currently ranked as a top 20 town in the entire nation in the We Hear You America Contest, we’re calling on fans to keep voting for Collingswood until March 1. If Collingswood can stay in the top 18, we’ll win cash for town improvement projects.  Bring a laptop or device, enjoy a free buffet and live music  and cast votes with friends and neighbors! All are welcome and we hope to see you out for a true community event. This event is BYO – bring a bottle of wine or a six-pack and enjoy a night out with friends and neighbors. Dinner is covered for voters! If you can’t make the party, help us reach our goal of a top town by joining us online from your home or office all day long on February 28.

It will take everyone voting daily to see that we take a top spot. It’s easy to help cheer for Collingswood and we need folks to start today:
-Log on to www.ReadersDigest.com/America

-Enter your zip code (08108 for all of Collingwood)

-Register - only have to do this once

-Click the vote button - vote an UNLIMITED amount of times per day!

CAMtech Computers will provide a computer station for those that want to participate at the party but don’t have laptops, smartphones or tablets. Food for the Vote Party is being donated by DiBartolo’s Bakery,  Raymond’s Pizza, Tortilla Press, Cafe Antonio, Villa Barone and Saladworks. Live jazz, courtesy of Jazz Bridge, will keep everyone’s toes tapping. The Jazz duo is pianist Jim Holton and bassist Mike Boone, who is Ben Vereen’s bassist and performed with the Buddy Rich Band. He is one of Philly’s premier jazz bassists. Please thank our sponsors by supporting them!

February 28 is also an official Vote Day. Although voting is needed daily, Vote Days are intended to be a day-long, town-wide push for voting to help Collingswood garner a mass of votes to leap ahead. This is the most crucial stretch of the contest and we have to rally as a town to stay ahead! Encourage neighbors, clubs and friends to help pitch in for the next few weeks of voting.

Mark your calendars for the February 28 Vote Party and continue to vote each day (starting today!) until March 1 at www.rd.com/america.

Start voting today to keep us in the top 18 until March 1 at www.rd.com/america.
