Wednesday evening band concerts return to Knight Park beginning July 2. All concerts begin at 7:15 p.m. In the event of rain, concerts will be cancelled.

Bring your chairs, blankets & snacks and enjoy summer nights in Knight Park starting Tues, July 1. Movies start at dusk. Movies are extended into Thursday Nights in August.

Party on Powell - Sept 6, 2008

Collingswood will continue to dance under the starlight to benefit charity this year at the Party on Powell on September 6.

The event follows the tradition of the Gala on the Ave and the Barefoot Ball from previous years. Both events have raised thousands to benefit good causes in the Borough.

This year’s event - priced at $50 per person - will take place down Collingswood’s newest street, Powell Lane, by the LumberYard Condos. The money raised from the event will benefit Knight Park Pavilion Restoration Committee. focusing on renovation of the pavilion floors, ceiling, walls and more that started last year.

The music will be provided by Collingswood Pops Orchestra. The 17 piece orchestra is in its inaugural year in the Borough and will add to the arts and entertainment offerings in town.
