2nd Saturday was started by a collection of store owners that had an interest in promoting the arts in Collingswood. This monthly arts event, now under the umbrella of Collingswood Partners, Inc., has turned into one of the more popular town events and grows every month with new artists and participating store locations. Established in 2004, Second Saturday Collingswood is an exciting event designed to expose local artists and musicians to the many residents and visitors of Collingswood and the surrounding area. Each month visitors can plan a night on the town to experience the unique arts, music, shopping and dining Collingswood is known for. As always, Second Saturdays are free. Just visit Collingswood, stroll and enjoy the culture - on us.

Displays should be art or craft based, handmade works – we do not accept vendors or resale for this event. Food sales of any kind are not permitted by vendors. Organizers will review your application and send payment info, artists permit and set-up/even instructions if accepted as part of 2nd Saturday. Registration fee is $10 per artist and made via PayPal ONLY. Applications are taken by email ONLY. Tents are not permitted at 2nd Saturday. You must supply your own tables and chairs. You must display your permit on the night of the event. Artists without a permit may not participate in 2nd Saturday and will be asked to leave.
Music performances are a very popular part of the 2nd Saturday event. This is a great way for upcoming groups and musicians to gain exposure. Music performances are non-paying. You are encouraged to leave a tip jar, which has been very successful for most musicians. We ask all artists and musicians to invite friends, family and art-lovers to come out!. If a performer or group interested in performing, please contact Music Chairman Ted Velykis at firstname.lastname@example.org. NOTE: In order to avoid drowning out neighboring music, musicians MUST be registered. If you are not a scheduled musician for the evening, you will be asked to leave.
