COLLINGSWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT BIKE RODEO

The Collingswood Police Department, in cooperation with Cross County Connection and the Collingswood Bike Share, will host a Bike Rodeo designed for children between the approximate ages of 9 and 12. This event features a safety course where members of the Collingswood Bike Patrol and other officers will discuss the importance of following the rules of the road, proper hand signals and appropriate bike etiquette. In addition, our local Collingswood Bike Share provides a station for  "quick bike checks" to help with issues like proper tire inflation, seat adjustments and chain/brake checks.

The Cross County Connection will also be present with a station providing safety information and free bike helmets while supplies last! Children should come with their bikes, masks, helmet and an adult who also may participate with them in some  stations.  Adults can bring their bike as well! If your child does not have a helmet, we encourage you to get there early and contact us at dbascelli@collingswood.com. Registration for these events is not mandatory, but suggested to help us with our estimates. Please followus on Facebook for announcements of these events or email dbascelli@collingswood.com for registration.

This year's event is October 10, 2020 and will last from 11am until 2pm.  It will be held in the parking area of the Scottish Rite at 315 White Horse Pike. We look forward to seeing you there! Safety First!!! Please wear your masks. We will be practicing social distancing.
