From November to the New Year, Collingswood is bursting with holiday cheer. Enjoy singers and snow in Downtown Collingswood Fridays and Saturdays, our annual Holiday Parade, Parade of Lights, FREE visits with Santa, special events, concerts, shopping and dining deals, and the charm of more than a quarter-million lights decorating our tree-lined streets!

Santa is available for visits every weekend in December free of charge! Santa will welcome families at his Collingswood Headquarters at Extraordinary ED, 808 Haddon Ave. Visits are scheduled Friday nights from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday afternoons from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.  Visit Santa to drop off your wish list and take photos and enjoy all the fun, shopping, and dining in downtown Collingswood!

Collingswood is again hosting a sensory-friendly Santa experience. Visit Santa in a quiet and comfortable setting for children with special needs. The visits are held on Sunday, December 4 and Sunday, December 11 from 9am -12pm at Upcycle Fitness, 716 Haddon. Space is limited - click here to make your appointment today!

Santa will also be accepting letters in his mailbox in front of Borough Hall beginning Friday, November 25. Get your letters in early so Santa has time to answer them.

Holiday Shopping, Dining & Strolling
Collingswood transforms into a winter wonderland - a beautiful shopping streetscape all along the downtown. There are extended shopping hours every Friday and Saturday in December and parking is FREE downtown throughout the month to make shopping a breeze. Find just the right gifts for underneath the tree. From home décor, candy, art, gourmet items, toys, and games to comic books, entertainment experiences, dining gift cards, and so much more - Collingswood has all your gift-giving needs covered.

We have the holiday magic covered too – get a pair of HOLOSPEX glasses to check out all those twinkling lights with holographic lenses that bend the light to create a magical holiday pattern from every light displayed. Collingswood Cash Tailgate Party & Sale, Saturday, November 19, EARLY!
Shoppers flock to Collingswood for the yearly “free money” Collingswood Cash giveaway lining up in all kinds of weather as early as 4:00 AM. Collingswood Partners will give away $50,000 to patrons of Collingswood businesses. Shoppers that purchase $50 in Collingswood Cash –the Borough’s equivalent to a mall gift card– will receive an additional $20 to spend anywhere in town. The bonus cash is first come first served and long lines for the giveaway begin before dawn. We’re bringing the tailgate party back, too! Those camped out at Borough Hall enjoy an early morning party to kick off the holiday season. The party officially starts at 6:30 AM and festivities include music, games, and multiple giveaways per hour including concert tickets, sports-themed prizes, tailgating gear, and Collingswood swag. Breakfast snacks and drinks to keep folks warm and happy are also available. Co-sponsored by the Borough of Collingswood and Camden County Board of Commissioners.

Holiday Tree Lighting, Friday, November 25, 7:00 PM
Santa descends from atop Borough Hall by way of the Collingswood Fire Department’s ladder truck – just in time for the Borough’s official Tree Lighting Ceremony. Choral groups will sing as the town tree is lit up with twinkling lights and season’s greetings are made by Mayor Jim Maley and Commissioners Rob Lewandowski and Morgan Robinson.

Live Ice Carving on Nov 25! If you needed more reason to soak up the season after the tree lighting, there will be a live ice carving demonstration at the Millennium Clock/Zane Schoolhouse at Irvin Ave at 7:30 p.m. After we greet Santa at Borough Hall, turn around and stroll the downtown, visit our merchants and enjoy the show.

Holiday Parade, Saturday, November 26, 10:00 AM
Don’t miss the best holiday parade in South Jersey! The parade features lively seasonal entertainment including marching bands, dancers, holiday characters, stilts walkers, floats, mummers, sports mascots and live music. The parade begins at Zane and Haddon Avenues and continues to West Linden Avenue, through the heart of Downtown Collingswood. 

DecemberFest Pop-up Family Night, December 3, 5:00 - 8:00 PM
Bring the whole crew and enjoy some outdoor fun! We’ll have lawn games, kids activities sponsored by Collingswood PTA's, s'mores kits and hot chocolate, special holiday photo station, PLUS a fireside viewing of Frozen II. Get toasty before or after and book a reservation at your favorite restaurant and do some downtown holiday shopping at our shops and boutiques. More Info 

DecemberFest Pop-up Handmade Holidays Night, December 10, 5:00 - 9:00 PM
From home décor, candy, art, gourmet items, toys and games to comic books, entertainment and wellness experiences, and so much more - Collingswood has all your gift-giving needs covered! So, shop ALL the stores, grab a bite, then swing by Haddon and Woodlawn for a special holiday edition local maker’s market featuring one-of-a-kind art and other handmade items. Second Saturday Arts and Music, Saturday, December 10, 5:00 PM
The festive lights will make for an extra special Second Saturday event starting at 5:00 PM! As always, the evening of art and entertainment will host artists, crafters, and musicians at studios, galleries, coffee houses and retail shops. Experience art, demonstrations, performances, and exhibits at several locations along Haddon Ave.  Visit the Second Saturday page for more info.

23rd Annual 92.5 XTU Toy Truck Parade, Saturday, December 17, 10:00 AM
Decorate your vehicle, fill it up with NEW and UNWRAPPED toys, and meet us at the Scottish Rite Auditorium at 8:00 AM! Starting at 10:00 AM, we will parade through Collingswood, NJ to our destination at Cooper River Track. At approximately 10:45am, XTU will be at the Cooper River Track accepting gifts from listeners and building a mountain of toys. All toys donated will benefit the Liberty USO and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Camden County.

Listeners can decorate their trucks and show up at the Scottish Rite Auditorium (315 White Horse Pike, Collingswood, NJ 08107) at 8am on Saturday, December 17th.  If they want their truck to be judged, then they will go to the XTU Tent at the Scottish Rite Auditorium to get a dashboard number color coordinated for the category that their truck will be judged.

Community Menorah Lighting, Thursday, December 22, 6:00 PM
Join us for a Menorah Lighting and Chanukah Celebration at Perkins Center for the Arts, 30 Irvin Avenue. Lumberyard Garden (Collings and North Atlantic Avenues). All are welcome! Connect with the community and enjoy an evening of fun for the whole family with music, latkes, donuts, dreidels, and choco-gelt! Sponsored by Chabad of Camden and Burlington Counties. (Due to the extreme weather expected, Perkins Center for the Arts has graciously agreed to host the Menorah Lighting indoors.)
